Mahatma Gandhi

If any individual can be described as the most effective activist of the 20th century, that person was Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi. Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi, commonly known as Mahatma Gandhi, (October 2, 1869 - Assassinated: January 30, 1948), was the preeminent leader of Indian nationalism in British-ruled India.
